The members of the Leopoldina are organized in 28 sections that are grouped in four classes.
To prevent further global warming, the future energy supply must be free of carbon emissions. Questions about the energy supply and climate and environmental change are closely intertwined. The committee devotes itself to solving crucial environmental problems and to answering the question of how we can manage the transition to a carbon-neutral energy supply.
