The members of the Leopoldina are organized in 28 sections that are grouped in four classes.
Information and communication technologies have brought major changes in daily, professional, private and public life, as well as radical alterations to our traditional understanding of concepts like personhood and the private sphere. This committee analyses technological developments and their societal, social and scientific impact.
