The goals of the symposium are
- to review the theoretical and experimental developments in precision spectroscopy related to fundamental physics
- to establish new possibilities and directions for the future, in particular to address fundamental questions in chemistry and physics
- to place fundamental studies in the context of a broad range of recent applications in the natural sciences
The symposium will be devoted to the following themes
- High-resolution spectroscopy
- Molecular structure and dynamics
- Precision spectroscopy and fundamental physics
- Ab initio quantum chemistry
- Symmetry selection rules in spectroscopy and molecular reactions
- Dynamics including parity violation
- Spectroscopy and astrophysics
- Ultrafast spectroscopy and attosecond science
- Ultrafast processes in chemistry and biochemistry
- Physics and chemistry of cold molecules
