Research

Eberhard Knobloch's publications deal with the history and the foundations of the mathematical sciences and of Renaissance technology. He has established the series 7 “Mathematical Writings“ and 8 “Natural-scientific-technical-medical Writings“ of the Leibniz-Edition and was in charge of them for several decades at the Berlin University of Technology and at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. He was or is a co-worker of the Kepler-Edition and of the edition of Alexander von Humboldt’s correspondences.
