Demographic change is altering our society fundamentally and in a complex way. It offers many opportunities, but also presents us with great challenges. Changes in birth rate, changes in the way we live together with children, increased life expectancy and a shrinking and aging population are some of the developments this committee is addressing. It also focusses on intergenerational relations and sustainability.
