The members of the Leopoldina are organized in 28 sections that are grouped in four classes.
What role do individual attitudes, behaviors and value systems play in coping with problems such as climate change, dealing with infectious diseases or future energy supply? These and other problems have many scientific facets, but in all cases, change will only be achieved by changing the attitudes and behavior of individuals. This committee is concerned with the social consequences of individual patterns of action and possible behavioral scientific perspectives.
