SUMMARY:IMB Conference „DNA Demethylation, Repair and Beyond“
DESCRIPTION:The conference will focus on the latest findings and concepts i
 n the fields of DNA demethylation, DNA repair and related areas. Importantl
 y, this conference is the first major meeting on DNA demethylation and the 
 first to bring together leading epigeneticists with DNA repair specialists.
  As such the conference will be critical to build bridges at a time when it
  is becoming clear that new conceptual advances are crucially dependent on 
 increased interactions and collaboration between these research fields. It 
 is expected that the clear focus of the conference will lead to a unique an
 d very successful event that will result in extensive dissemination of rese
 arch and ideas between researchers in these newly interrelated fields.\n\nA
  total of 20 scientists from around the world have confirmed to present the
 ir work at the conference. These speakers are all world leaders in their fi
 elds and hail from a total of eight different countries from across Europe,
  North America and Asia. Their talks will be supplemented by invited short 
 talks from more junior researchers and poster presentations from selected p
