DESCRIPTION: Wissenschaft lebt von Neugier und Austausch. Mit den Symposien
  der Klassen lädt die Nationale Akademie der Wissenschaften Leopoldina Sie 
 ein, über die Grenzen einzelner Fachbereiche hinaus Einblicke in die vielfä
 ltigen Forschungsthemen zu werfen, mit denen sich die Mitglieder der Akadem
 ie beschäftigen. Renommierte Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler aus d
 em Bereich Lebenswissenschaften geben Einblicke in ihre Fachgebiete. Den Au
 ftakt des Symposiums bildet die Leopoldina-Vorlesung am Abend des 22. Mai 2
