DESCRIPTION:Rocked by right-wing terrorist attacks, affected local communit
 ies experience extreme threats to their safety as well as their social stru
 ctures and cohesion. This panel considers the role civil society actors can
  play in shaping local group identities to counter radicalization as a caus
 e of communal division.\n\nThe event is a collaboration between the German 
 National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Alexander von Humboldt Foun
 dation. Dr. Karamba Diaby, Member of Parliament, will deliver the welcoming
