SUMMARY:[Verschoben] Neurobiology of the major psychosis
DESCRIPTION:Large epidemiological and molecular genetic studies have elucid
 ated the risk factors for the major psychosis (major depression, schizophre
 nia, bipolar disorder). The pathophysiological pathways from these risks on
 to molecular, cellular and systemic levels remain largely ellusive. The con
 ference “Neurobiology of the Major Psychosis” aims at a transdiagnostic, di
 mensional view to unravel these pathways in animal models and humans. It wi
 ll bring together leading European experts in the field to accelerate the t
 ranslation of research break-throughs into novel classification and persona
 lised medicine.\n\nThe symposium is co-sponsored by the Leopoldina.\n\nFurt
