A call for action to strengthen health research capacity in low and middle income countries (2013)

(2013, 5 pages)

Research capacity is the ability to conduct, synthesize, manage, share, and apply research. Research capacity strengthening (RCS) is important in all countries and involves developing national systems that can identify the need for research; commission, partner and conduct research; communicate the results of research to those who need to know; and ensure that research results are used.
