Research

Research in the Nilsson lab has expanded from studies on cognitive psychology to studies on the role of genetic markers in memory functioning throughout the life span, and in the development of mild cognitive impairment and dementia. In addition to behavioral measures, Nilsson uses brain imaging techniques to assess memory functioning.
