Research

Walter Michaeli is noted for the large number of key articles he has written in the field of plastics technology, which are documented in numerous journal and book publications. He was managing director of the IKV's Association of Sponsors, which currently has a membership of more than 230 eminent companies from the plastics sector worldwide. The IKV Institute of Plastics Processing, of which he was managing director from 1988 to 2011, enjoys a worldwide reputation for its work on researching and drawing up descriptions of the correlations that exist between the material of "plastics", the design of plastic parts, and their processing technologies. In 2011 Michaeli entered retirement.
