The event a continuation of the event supported by the Leopoldina in February 2024, which was an interdisciplinary workshop on Hodgkin's lymphoma with contributions from haematology, pathology, human genetics, immunology, molecular biology and bioinformatics. A lively exchange took place at this workshop and it was decided to apply for a European doctoral network on the “Biology of Hodkin's lymphoma” as part of the EU funding line “Doctoral Networks - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions” (MSCA-DN). The application was submitted in November 2024.
The current event serves to consolidate the network by the participants from eight European countries. Planned scientific projects are to be presented in greater depth, discussed and initiated.
