The European academies have accumulated expertise in these areas during the past years, however, no European attempt has been made to bring these perspectives together for the benefit of Europeans.
Based on the previous demographic reports and analyses of the academies, a joint statement will be elaborated and discussed during a two-day conference, hosted by the Leopoldina.
