Rocked by right-wing terrorist attacks, affected local communities experience extreme threats to their safety as well as their social structures and cohesion. This panel considers the role civil society actors can play in shaping local group identities to counter radicalization as a cause of communal division.
The event is a collaboration between the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Karamba Diaby, Member of Parliament, will deliver the welcoming address.
