Research

Die wichtigsten Forschungsgebiete von Helmut Remschmidt sind Entwicklungspsychopathologie, Forensische Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie, Schizophrenieforschung, genetische und Therapieevaluationsforschung. Auf diesen Gebieten hat er zahlreiche international beachtete Publikationen verfasst und neue Konzepte zur Behandlung kinder- und jugendpsychiatrischer Störungen entwickelt.

Helmut Remschmidt 's main research areas are: developmental psychopathology, forensic child and adolescent psychiatry, schizophrenia research, research in genetics and therapy evaluation. In these fields he published a great number of internationally recognized articles and books and developed new concepts for the treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.
