The main part of Hermann Hepp’s scientific work took place at the“Frauenklinik der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) am Klinikum München-Grosshadern”, that he was running with high reputation on an national and international level.

His most important scientific focus on gynecological endocrinology, reproductive medicine and operative gynecology (endoscopy, microsurgery). Aside Hepp always included in his medical research other related fields, such as: birth control, abortion, extracorporal fetilisation, preimplantationdiagnosis, status embryo-stemcellresearch and their ethical implications.
