At the Joint Academy Day of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, which it co-hosted with the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina in Vienna on 1 February 2023, the focus was on the challenges of science communication in times of multiple crisis. In addition, nine points on the tasks and requirements of science-based advice were put up for discussion, reflecting important experiences of the science academies during the Corona crisis.
