What kinds of research can help us to address the challenges of longer lives and demographic change? How does Germany perform in this field in comparison to other countries with strong research output? The Report on Tomorrow’s Science answers these questions with a multidisciplinary overview of research fields and funding, and recommends ways to improve funding of innovative, future-oriented research into ageing and life course.

A supplement outlines the challenges created by the Covid pandemic for research into ageing and life course in Germany.
