Research

Gerhard Hans Giebisch was an Austrian physiologist. He reached international appreciation through his research on renal physiology, in particular on the nephron and the metabolism of electrolytes. He spent most of his live in the USA where he became among other things a Sterling Professor at the Yale University in New Haven.
