International Conference of the DFG Research Unit 2107

Datum: Montag, 30. November bis Dienstag, 1. Dezember 2020
Ort: Alte Aula und Universitätsbibliothek, Lahntor 3 und Deutschhausstr. 9, 35037 Marburg

Large epidemiological and molecular genetic studies have elucidated the risk factors for the major psychosis (major depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder). The pathophysiological pathways from these risks onto molecular, cellular and systemic levels remain largely ellusive. The conference “Neurobiology of the Major Psychosis” aims at a transdiagnostic, dimensional view to unravel these pathways in animal models and humans. It will bring together leading European experts in the field to accelerate the translation of research break-throughs into novel classification and personalised medicine.

The symposium is co-sponsored by the Leopoldina.
